It's officially over...

Speech class has officially ended as of last night! I gave my final speech on Dolphins.....how suitable for me seeing I LOVE dolphins! I was worried after I finished delivering my last speech as I didn't think I did as well as I did on my last one, but sometimes I surprise myself. I got my grade today and I actually got an "A" on the speech and one point higher than my last speech. And.......I am proud to say I got an "A" in the class!
Now, 3 1/2 weeks of summer break and then back to school.........next up Geography!

Well, Today I am finishing up my very last speech which I will be presenting in class on Wednesday evening and then this speech class is over :)

~Day at the Races~

On Saturday my family went to Arlington Park Race Track to watch the horse races. Lana LOVED the horses. I think my dad was the big winner of the day starting off by winning $80 the first race.....but I think by the time the races were all over he had given it all back :(
I won $7.80 on one race!
All in all it was a great day!

~Tomato Plant~

Sam planted a tomato plant a few months ago and we are starting to see some nice tomatoes!

July 21st is not only mine and Sam's wedding anniversary, but it also happens to be my dad's birthday!! So tonight we went out for dinner to celebrate.

8 Years ago today.....

8 Years ago Sam and I were married - July 21, 2001
It was a VERY HOT day - upper 90's, maybe even 100 degrees - and my parents air conditioning went out in the house....ugh! Today, July 21, 2009, it is 69 degrees and would be a beautiful day for a wedding:) Our wedding 8 years ago was beautiful and I wouldnt change it for anything!

~Concert~

Friday night Sam and I went to the Poison and Def Leppard concert. These were two bands I loved in High School - after Bon Jovi of course:)
Poor Sam didnt know very many song so thankfully we went with his friend Dave and his wife so Sam had someone to talk to while I was dancing and singing.
It was pretty chilly friday night so I came prepared with my nice blanket!

We had lawn seats so the pictures arent as good as my Bon Jovi ones were :(

~Troy's Birthday~
