~Lunch Downtown~

Today my mom and her friends went downtown for lunch at the Walnut Room in Macy's and they invited me to go with them!

I cant remember what this drink was called that I had but it had Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Schnapps, Vodka, Goldschloger and was topped with whipped cream. It was very good but burned the whole way down!
The Christmas Tree inside the Walnut Room was so pretty!
Here is the Nativity scene that was outside Daley Center
Christmas Tree at Daley Center - very unimpressive. I cant believe they moved the location and got a new tree which is nothing like the old one.

~New Kitchen floor and paint~

Here are a few pictures of our new kitchen floor my brother installed along with the new colors we put on the wall.

~Light the Night Walk~

On October, 11th, I participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma's Light the Night Walk. The walk is filled with inspiration - Illuminated balloons are carried - white for survivors, red for supports and gold in memory of a loved one who lost their battle to cancer. Thousands of walkers - men, woman and children - form a community of caring - bringing light to the dark world of cancer. This coming January will mark my 13th anniversary since my bone marrow transplant and of being cancer free. I thank the Lord everyday for giving me life.

This year, Sam, my parents and Ciara walked with me.

Thank you to everyone who supported me in my walk and helped me to collect over $1,000 for this very important cause!!!
