~Lunch at Grandpa's~

Since Sam, me and mom were on vacation yesterday we decided to surprise Grandpa for lunch. Uncle John, Aunt Glenda, Crystal, Rebekah, Rachel, Josh, Cameron, Cecilia and Karley also came and it was so much fun! After lunch we had a few games of bean bags which brought out a few laughs. I havent laughed that hard in quite a while!

Uncle John and Josh had their own victory "slam" if you want to call it when they won.

~Tammy's 40th Surprise Birthday Party~

My cousin Tammy turns 40 on August 20th, so on
August 1st there was a surprise party for her and
boy she was surprised!

After dinner we had a "roasting" where we could tell a story we had about Tammy. Some of them were really good. Even grandpa had something to say!

~Tour of Elk Grove~

This weekend, our town of Elk Grove Village hosted the 4th annual Tour of Elk Grove where bicyclists from all over came out to compete in a 3 day race. The winner receives $40,000!! This year the course included our street so on Saturday our street was shut down from 2pm-8pm where we could not leave by car. If we needed to get out we needed to park our car blocks away before 2pm or we needed to walk. Well, we had a birthday party to go to so my parents picked us up 4 blocks down the road....lol
